A solo web agency owner says building the site first makes closing much easier
The author argues that web agencies waste time on too many meetings and late approvals. His preferred process is to use email automation to target businesses that already have websites, then personalize outreach based on concrete problems such as design, speed, SEO, and mobile issues.
He uses Swokei to find and score sites, generate tailored emails, and run follow-ups. After a prospect replies, he sends a free draft, then pushes the conversation to a Google Meet where the client can see a better version of their own site before deciding.
He says this removes the need for the client to imagine the result, makes rejection harder, and helps him close deals for roughly $500 to $3,000 depending on the business.
