Models are getting bolder and less hedgy, reply says

A short reply argues today’s models are more ambitious than they were six months ago.
The point is that younger agents used to hedge constantly and turn every task into a “pilot,” but newer models now seem more willing to just do the thing — which the author links to recently documented alignment issues.
