Soxton lands on investors’ 2026 legal-startup watchlist with $2.5M raised

An investor says nominating Soxton and Logan Brown for Melia Russell’s list of “13 legal startups to watch in 2026” was an easy call.
The attached Business Insider screenshot adds the substance:
- Soxton is an AI-enabled law firm for startups
- it has raised $2.5 million so far, according to the company
- more than 800 companies have used it since launch
- the waitlist reportedly stretches into the thousands
The pitch is that startups need affordable legal help early, but a traditional law firm is too expensive on day one. Soxton is trying to fill that gap with lawyer-backed, AI-assisted support.
