Chris Paxton says real robot deployments often work better without humanoid legs

Chris Paxton argues that several humanoid robot demos are solving the wrong form factor problem: in real deployments, systems like Robotera and Agility often remove the legs or work by bringing an AMR up to the workstation.
His point is that if the task is just a side approach and a 90-degree turn by a human, a humanoid looks wasteful — a two-arm pivot or even a single 6DOF arm would be more sensible than “giving it legs.”
