At WAIC, Huawei's Atlas 950 SuperPoD drew significant attention. A single turnkey system integrates 1,024 Ascend 950 chips. The company states the architecture scales to 8,192 chips as a single logical computer and can form clusters of up to half a million chips.
Industry experts highlight that the most critical innovation lies in its unified bus and memory architectures, rather than just raw chip counts. Multiple vendors are now pushing similar large-scale turnkey AI systems.
