China's Smart Computing Capacity Surges 177% YoY Amid Industrial Robotics Boom
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-07-21
Citing recent data, the post highlights massive growth in China's high-tech manufacturing. Smart computing capacity surged 177% year-over-year to 2,185 EFLOPS, while IC exports grew by 88.7%. Production of 3D printing, lithium batteries, and industrial robots increased by 48.5%, 39.3%, and 28% respectively. The author estimates that if this 28% growth rate for robotics is sustained, output could double every 34 months, potentially reaching 32 times the current volume by the second half of 2040.
