U.S. AI standards chief resigns after three months

Chris Fall, who led the U.S. federal AI testing and standards office (CAISI), has resigned after only three months in the role.
The report says the Trump administration is still working out how to deploy AI safely and define standards, leaving the office without permanent leadership while the next oversight steps are debated.
