UndoMCP is a Ctrl-Z for AI agent MCP actions
techgaming1999 · reddit · 2026-07-20
The author built **UndoMCP**, an open-source tool that acts like a **Ctrl-Z for MCP actions** performed by AI agents. What it does: - Tracks and records MCP changes across **multiple sessions** in a **local database**. - Lets you undo critical changes even if the AI has lost context or you are in a fresh session. - Runs in the background, works across IDEs, and is designed to be “install-and-forget.” - You can invoke `/undomcp`, and the agent reads the database to roll back changes. The author is looking for initial testers and feedback.
