Blomkamp Uses AI to Create 13-Minute Short Film

Neill Blomkamp has released NIGHTBORNE, a 13-minute AI-generated test short film, calling it the first comprehensive test of an AI movie. It was created using Seedance 2.0.<br><br>Having experimented with AI for several years, he now aims to produce a feature film using this format. The production also involved real concept designers and used the faces and voices of 32 real people.<br><br>He also announced that Barley Studios will serve as his new AI filmmaking hub for personal projects, functioning much like what Oats Studios is to traditional filmmaking and VFX.
