Codex Burns Tokens in Endless Compression Loops

A post highlights that Codex burns through tokens during long tasks due to a flawed compression design. Once compressed, the model only sees the initial prompt, trapping it in an endless loop of "initial prompt → compression → execution". It can only break the cycle if compression randomly skips, otherwise, it drains the entire quota.
