LeCun Rebuts Open Source Dumping Claims

Yann LeCun pushed back against people labeling the release of open-source software as "dumping," firing back with examples like Linux, Apache, MySQL, HTTP/TCP/IP, OpenSSL/OpenSSH, PyTorch, and Llama.
He argued that these foundational open-source technologies are the public bedrock of the internet and AI ecosystems and shouldn't simply be dismissed as "dumping."
