ModelBest Releases Open-Source Embodied AI Models

ModelBest has released and open-sourced MiniCPM-Robot, its first embodied AI model series, featuring the general VLA model RobotManip (1.5B) for operation and RobotTrack (0.9B) for tracking and navigation.
Trained on the multimodal model MiniCPM-V4.6, RobotManip uses edge-side visual Token compression to grant robots temporal memory without significantly increasing computation, solving the inability of traditional models to accurately execute long-horizon tasks like counting. RobotTrack is designed for extreme environments like network outages and natively adapts to the Unitree Go2Edu robot dog, achieving high success rates in dynamic target tracking via pure local deployment.
Additionally, the accompanying inference framework PhyAI provides deep acceleration optimizations. These technologies are already being applied in AUBO Robotics for tour inspections and Geely Automobile for warehousing scenarios.
