Anthropic to Significantly Tighten Rate Limits

The author points out that after Anthropic's "1.5x rate limit" promo ends on July 19, the so-called "50% limit" will actually leave users with only about a third of the quota they've been used to since May, making the restriction feel much tighter.
They interpret this as a brutal math problem: available capacity for users is shrinking because of a genuine lack of underlying compute, jokingly pleading, "someone get Anthropic more compute."
