Feedback from a large enterprise CVC indicates they are using Microsoft Copilot, Palantir, Databricks, and if a company does not provide FDE (forward-deployed engineers), they won't partner with them.
Based on this, the poster concludes that enterprise AI is entering a new phase: implementation capability is now more important than the software itself. In this environment, the traditional startup path of "building a lightweight MVP and letting it grow organically" will be much harder, because customers care more about whether it can be directly embedded into existing workflows and truly deliver results.
