Claude Has Noticeably Slowed Down Recently

As a premium Claude subscriber, the author has noticed a significant drop in the model's speed over the past month. While Claude previously held an edge in both speed and quality, identical tasks now take 3–4 hours, making it less efficient than competing models that finish in 30 minutes followed by manual bug fixes. Despite following Anthropic's optimization tips—reducing context, limiting task scope, and avoiding context saturation—performance has still degraded since about a month ago.
