Hugging Face Launches ICML Paper Reproduction Challenge
Gradio · x · 2026-07-16
Gradio highlighted a community challenge for ICML 2026, inviting independent researchers to attempt to reproduce all published, accepted, and award-winning papers from the conference.
The organizers believe that before the advent of AI agents, this was nearly impossible, but now they can try to scale the effort using agents. Co-organized by Hugging Face and AskAlphaXiv, the event runs for 3 weeks and offers a total of over $4,500 in GPU credits as prizes, encouraging participants to bring their own agents.
