Codex Over-Optimizes and Crashes the Computer

After attempting to over-optimize a WebGPU kernel, Codex completely crashed the author's computer.
This is a classic AI coding assistant fail: while highly capable, it can still wreck the local environment when pushing the limits of low-level performance optimization.
