Monumental Robots Complete Brickwork for 100 Homes
_sholtodouglas · x · 2026-07-15
The quote notes that Monumental's robots have completed several real-world construction projects:
- Brickwork for 100 houses
- A school
- A hotel
- A community center
- Hundreds of meters of Amsterdam canal walls
The author highlighted accelerating delivery speeds, noting that half of the company's total deliveries were completed in the past three months. The original post argued that future construction costs could eventually drop to the cost of materials, which in turn would approach an "energy + robot labor" combination, ultimately transforming architectural aesthetics and construction methods.
