Anthropic Commits Millions to Canadian AI Research

Anthropic announced an investment of 10 million CAD, partnering with multiple Canadian AI research institutions, as well as academic and medical organizations, to support new AI research.
Participants include the Vector Institute, Amii, and Mila, alongside institutions like U of T DSI, CAMH, and CHEO. The focus of this announcement is purely on funding and the scope of research collaborations, rather than a new model or product release.
