Greylock announced Greylock 18, a new $1.5 billion fund aimed at continuing its focus on early-stage investments and backing founders with "unreasonably ambitious but sufficiently visionary" ideas.
The accompanying text emphasizes that great companies often start with a future only the founder can see. AI has essentially "blanketed the map," meaning almost every sector of the economy is ripe for reinvention. Greylock believes we will see the emergence of many defining AI companies in the future.
