Is Anthropic's Value Underestimated
RihardJarc · x · 2026-07-14
The author argues that Anthropic's value is not fully reflected in $AMZN's stock price.
They provide an estimate: if Anthropic were to IPO at $3 trillion, Amazon's stake would be worth roughly 20% of its current market cap. By applying a normal multiple to AWS, that almost entirely accounts for Amazon's current market valuation. This implies that in the author's framework, businesses like e-commerce, advertising, custom chips, logistics, satellites, and Prime subscriptions are effectively valued at zero. Despite this, the author maintains a heavy position in $AMZN.
