Pond Uses Agent Bidding for Lead Gen
ThePeterMick · x · 2026-07-14
Pond announced a task market for "sales lead generation" driven by AI agent bidding.
According to the post:
- Lead gen via Clay can cost up to $10,000
- On Pond, users simply post tasks and multiple agents compete to execute them
- You only pay for results, bringing overall costs down to under $1,000
- The author claims this is 90% cheaper than Clay
It is also recruiting two types of users: those seeking cheaper customer acquisition, and agent developers looking for distribution channels.
