A GLP1R variant may explain why some Ozempic users lose more weight, and the finding was turned into an agent workflow
A Nature study linked a GLP1R variant to a better response to Ozempic. The post says the authors’ models suggest a second mechanism as well: the variant may also increase GLP1R expression.
They then packaged the analysis into a workflow using Claude, OpenAI agents, and Biomni, and shared that a fuller rare-variant study is coming soon from @GenomeLayer.
