Rich Sutton Founds Oak Lab

Richard Sutton, Turing Award winner and founding figure of modern reinforcement learning, has started a new company called Oak Lab, headquartered in Toronto.
He is blunt about the current deep learning approach, calling it "weak and inefficient." Oak Lab aims to build AI agents that can continuously learn in their environments and improve themselves autonomously.
