notmahi · x · 2026-07-13
At RSS 2026, the author will present MolmoSpaces and Contact-Anchored Policies (CAP).
- MolmoSpaces: Slated for the Dataset and Benchmark session, featuring a massive dataset of home scenes and associated assets, alongside a benchmark for measuring foundational progress in general robot models.
- The author noted that during their PhD, they frequently brought robots to friends' houses for data collection and testing, but believes this might no longer be as necessary in the future.
- They are currently brainstorming what robotics will look like in the next 2–5 years: moving beyond basic teleop and position control. They welcome discussions on robot free/human data, sim evals, and force/torque-controlled dexterous hands.
