ChatGPT Android Assistant Screenshot Permission Seems Broken

The author set ChatGPT as their default Android assistant, primarily because the new Live voice mode offers a fantastic experience.
However, they noticed an issue: while ChatGPT should theoretically be able to read screenshots of the currently running app, the feature isn't working in practice, even though the necessary permissions appear to be correctly enabled. They are publicly asking OpenAI if this is a known bug.
