Copilot Studio Adds Planner MCP

A Microsoft Planner MCP component has been quietly added to the new Copilot Studio designer.
This means agents can now directly manipulate Planner tasks, plans, assignments, and updates. The author believes this type of capability is highly practical and indicates Microsoft's continuous effort to integrate stronger features into this designer.
