US Unveils AI Compute Whitelist for UAE
pstAsiatech · x · 2026-07-11
The post elaborates on the first batch of entities included in the US "approved entity" channel, featuring Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, Oracle, and xAI. The focus of this mechanism isn't to give all UAE data centers unrestricted access to NVIDIA/AMD accelerators, but to establish a priority lane for US-aligned AI ecosystems.
Additionally, UAE government agencies, G42, Core42, and designated US-headquartered companies along with their UAE subsidiaries can receive covered advanced computing equipment without needing individual export licenses.
