Tegadesigns · x · 2026-07-11
The author shares their monetization journey on the freelance platform Contra: starting from zero revenue in December of last year, they reached $5,000 in revenue by March.
Contra is similar to Upwork but designed specifically for indie developers/creators. It doesn't require purchasing virtual currency to apply for jobs and hosts a large community of founders and creators actively looking for talent. After taking a brief break, the author is now aiming to scale their platform earnings to $20,000.
