wzenus · x · 2026-07-10
In an invited talk at an academic conference, Bo Li from Virtue AI and UIUC explored security risks in the era of agents, covering memory, tools, privacy data, and practical operations. They proposed a comprehensive security pipeline that includes red teaming and runtime guardrails. Yu Su from Ohio State University pointed out that while current AI agents excel at coding, they still struggle with daily enterprise tasks. He compared modern agents to "the smartest novices in the world," arguing that continuous learning is key for them to adapt and compress experience.
