Humanoid Robot Participates in Real Surgery for First Time

A UC San Diego research team published a study in Nature demonstrating teleoperated humanoid robots performing real surgeries. In the experiments, two humanoid robots remotely controlled by human surgeons successfully completed procedures like laparoscopic cholecystectomy on pigs.
