Liquid AI Open-Sources Antidoom to Eliminate Inference Doom Loops
soteko · reddit · 2026-07-07
Liquid AI has released Antidoom, an open-source method designed to eliminate the "doom loop"—a failure mode where reasoning models get stuck in repetitive loops. Results show a significant drop in doom-loop rates alongside improved benchmark scores: an early LFM2.5-2.6B checkpoint dropped from 10.2% to 1.4%, and Qwen3.5-4B dropped from 22.9% to 1% (with greedy sampling). The author speculates this is in preparation for LFM2.5-2.6B.
