GMKtec has released the EVO-X3 mini PC, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max 395 (Strix Halo). Priced at $3,600, it emphasizes thermal design to prevent throttling and features USB4 alongside a new OCuLink interface for direct desktop GPU connections, minimizing loss and boosting eGPU performance. The poster noted the price is double that of their first 128GB, $1,600 Strix Halo machine, and predicted the next-gen Gorgon Halo will launch in about 3 months.
