AI Safety Team Secures New Funding, Launches Mass Hiring

AI safety researcher Geoffrey Irving announced that his team has secured a new round of funding and will expand significantly over the next year. They are currently hiring across research, engineering, safety, and operations roles, with applications closing on July 19. He also described aligning ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) as the defining engineering challenge of our era.
