Distilled LivePortrait Runs at 25fps in Browser

Developer @stephenholograf distilled Kling AI's portrait animation model, LivePortrait, into a smaller version capable of running in the browser via WebGPU. The original ONNX version took 30 seconds to generate a frame in Chrome; the distilled version takes less than 30 milliseconds per frame on an RTX 5090, reaching about 25fps. Currently a proof-of-concept with average quality (trained on a few portraits for several hours), the author is seeking real-world framerate feedback from the community across different GPUs.
