After testing, the author highlighted several current shortcomings of NotebookLM's short video feature: the duration is limited to 60 seconds with no fine-grained script control; the visuals are too generic with excessive dotted backgrounds; voice selection is not yet available; and handling of highly personalized data is still imperfect.
