Microsoft Forms Frontier Company to Bet on Enterprise AI

Microsoft has invested about $2.5 billion to establish the subsidiary Frontier Company, staffing it with around 6,000 engineers to focus on the deployment of enterprise AI. This is positioned as an industrial-level AI investment for operations, going beyond simple Copilot assistance.
