Google's Nature Study: AI Smartwatch Screens Hypertension Without a Cuff

A Google Research study published in Nature shows an AI system using standard smartwatch sensors (PPG and accelerometer) can passively screen for hypertension, achieving 66% sensitivity and 90% specificity in about 196 middle-aged participants.
