ChatGPT Work can now log into websites and run errands for you

OpenAI shipped a major autonomy upgrade for ChatGPT: Plus, Pro and Business users can now let ChatGPT Work log into websites on their behalf via a remote cloud browser, completing multi-step real-world tasks without the model ever seeing or storing usernames and passwords.

Confirmed

• ChatGPT Work includes a Cloud Browser with persistent authentication, a compute environment equivalent to 16GB RAM and 9 cores, app plugins and Codex capabilities; it is limited to eligible paid users, excluding Free and Go tiers.
• On first visit to a site, user authorization is required; at login pages the task pauses with a secure input form. Credentials go directly to the remote browser—the model cannot see them and they are not stored—and 2FA is supported in the same form. Sessions persist until expiry or manual clearing in settings for reuse in later tasks. @iruletheworldmo noted this closes the gap of Work previously being unable to handle account-gated sites.
