ChatGPT Gets 'Badge' and 'Pager': Secure Sign-ins and Event-Triggered Tasks

OpenAI quietly added two key enterprise features to ChatGPT:
- The Badge: Secure website sign-ins for apps like Slack and Gmail. Credentials go directly to a remote browser; the model doesn't see or store them. A separate review model checks for phishing.
- The Pager: Plus and Pro users can now trigger tasks when changes occur in Slack, Gmail, or GitHub, moving beyond simple schedules.
The author argues this combines to form a "real AI employee": the model reasons, a separate browser holds identity, and external events decide when work begins.
