Nous Research Launches Hermes Bot Mode for Persistent Multi-Agent Collaboration
On August 18, Nous Research co-founder Teknium announced Bot Mode for Hermes Desktop/Hermes Agent, productizing multi-agent capabilities: as an alternative to per-session interaction, users can turn agent profiles into named persistent Bots. The feature is already integrated and requires no installation.

- Each Bot has its own persona, model, memory, skills, tools, credentials, chat history, tasks, description and avatar
- Bots can call any model (cross-model), communicate with the user's other Bots, collaborate in group chats, and hand off work to each other
