Stanford and UNC Unveil Handroid, a Shape-shifting Robot

Stanford and UNC Chapel Hill researchers introduced Handroid, a reconfigurable robot with a 27-DOF shared body. It can physically transform between a bipedal humanoid and a dexterous hand, allowing joint reuse across different forms.
