Tencent Merges Hunyuan LLM and Multimodal Teams under Shunyu Yao

Tencent announced the merger of its Hunyuan large language model and multimodal departments into a unified Foundation Model Department. The new division will be led by Chief AI Scientist Shunyu Yao to consolidate R&D efforts.
