According to multiple reports, Simo went on medical leave three months ago due to an acute exacerbation of a chronic neuro-immune disease. Because her recovery has been longer and more complex than expected, she decided to prioritize her health. She will no longer participate in daily leadership but will remain with the company as a part-time advisor.
