Fidji informed the OpenAI team that she is stepping down from her full-time role to transition into a part-time advisory position.
She mentioned taking medical leave three months ago due to an acute flare-up of a chronic illness. Because her recovery has been longer and more complex than expected, she needs to prioritize her health.
