MoreWrong: the LessWrong parody site roasting rationalist decision-theory posts
rmcwhorter99 · x · 2026-11-09
A parody site called MoreWrong is circulating in AI/rationalist circles, publishing absurdist articles that mimic LessWrong's decision-theory voice — titles like A Marginal-Utility Case for Stealing My Grandmother's Pain Pills, I Can Stop Whenever I Want: A Responsible Scaling Policy for My Methamphetamine Use, and Pascal's Mugging and Why I Gave an Escort My Son's College Fund. Posts there rack up 13k–25k points, skewering EA/rationalist jargon (expected value, earning to give, responsible scaling) by pushing it to ridiculous extremes.
