Per Bloomberg, DeepSeek's open-source agent app Harness reached 1.54M daily users within 3 months of launch — counting only official API users, up from a 7-day average of 271K on September 30 after the desktop version shipped. These users burn about 92T tokens per day (60M each), early evidence that hours-long agent runs consume far more compute than chatbots.
