PlayCanvas has open-sourced its Gaussian Splat streaming solution, and it works impressively well. A demo scan of Vyšehrad packs 121 million Gaussians, 1.3GB of streamed SOG data, and 11 million collision voxels — one of the largest 3D Gaussian splats ever — streamed by SuperSplat and rendered in-browser via WebGPU.
