A complete tutorial covering a fresh ComfyUI portable install through fully local music video generation in Story Mode.
Key points: enable the built-in Manager (off by default in portable builds), install custom nodes, download only the models you need, and run a local LLM (Gemma or Qwen in ComfyUI, or LM Studio / Ollama / llama-server via Custom Server) for prompts and stories. Story, prompts, reference images, renders, and edits all stay on your machine.
Tested on 16GB VRAM + 64GB RAM; lower-spec users can try shorter scenes, lower resolution, and the DMAD/Refine pipeline. A fully local chat-driven agent for the builder is in the works.
