Dynatrace closed its $915M acquisition of Arize on October 1, extending its observability platform into pre-launch AI agent testing.
- 1,100+ customers now run Dynatrace agents, up from 800 a quarter earlier; AI customers use the platform 2x more than others.
- Arize brings evaluation tools (including Phoenix) so teams can test LLM apps and agents before launch, then monitor live behavior on one platform.
- Dynatrace's survey of 919 agentic AI leaders found 51% cite agent monitoring at scale as a top production barrier, and 42% report limited real-time visibility.
- The integration roadmap is due at the Perform conference in February.
